Managing desktops the Microsoft way
O.K. Boys & Girls(?: I agree with the comment of "if you think Energizer"-- How this one.......I am not the IT at work (cause I only have 30 years working with computers)and the Company IT (Bosses daughter)had to call the primary app provider to solve a problem with several work stations being lock out of the system. (you also have to call to add a printer, new work station, etc.. The brilliant person on the "phone nyour troubles away" was looking at all of the work stations and concluded that the problem was that my terminal which does all of the warranty and collision estimate, had "too many shortcuts in use". When I arrived - (on a day off, but went in)I found out that another person had logged onto the server, downloaded a critical Service Bulletin, and closed out my station without closing the app... Further, he closed out by hitting the power button....So in agreement with many articles written and replied to over the last week......What is going to be different in the future MS does what they want (the hell with everyone else) from what is happening right now??????? Please tell me I have the wrong slant on the happenings!!!!!
