That seems to be the best example of what I said in my statement-1. Proving that the extra knowledge/talent is worth the difference in salary. I am sure many talent Americans will be able to prove and keep their jobs. But at the same time there are lots of jobs that doesn't require a lot of skills. Even now if you look at the kind of work that is going to India, a lof of them are maintenance projects, where the majority of the work is alredy done by Americans and only minor problem fixes and other supporting work is required. And another kind is, development work where the architecture/design is done by Americans and only coding is shipped to India. Preventing
these kind of jobs from going abroad will be more difficult.
