Before You Welcome Our Overseas Overlords
Yesterday, we found out that US engineering students have been undercounted and both Chinese and Indian students have been overcounted. All these countries graduate roughly equal numbers of engineering students overall.

Today, we find out that only 25% of the Indian students are actually ready to enter industry after graduation. We already know that US universities are the best in the world, so we can safely make the assumption that a greater percentage of US students graduate capable of entering the workforce.

If I were you, I wouldn't be welcoming our overseas overlords just yet. While yes, other third world countries could pick up the slack of India or even China, they are not as developed or attractive as India. Remember, US companies went to India BOTH for the cheap labor AND for the fact that they speak English natively (although with a deep accent).
