Why should I spend a damn penny on education again?

Anybody else NOT feeling an urgent urge to study?

Why waste the money for a useless piece of paper?

With no incentive, there's no point. That's why we had good paying jobs in the first place.

And THEY can make all the excuses they want about Americans being stupid or lazy. They chose to drink the kool-aid; anyone with a brain knows the function of a for-profit entity and that is to make profit. Ergo, it is a bigger profit to an exec to get rid of tens of thousands of $50~75k/yr jobs with $3~4k/yr jobs.

Also notice how prices for items have not dropped? This isn't just gouging. This is treason by people who have an obligation to support America, its people, and its economy. And if you disagree, you tell them to stop taking corporate subsidy, tax breaks, and also tell them to move out of America entirely. They know where to move to.
