- Outsourcing Backlash

No Backlash? True as that may seem perhaps you should investigate the problem more. Why did IBM sell off its personal computer lines to a Chinese company that they have a 17% interest in? IBM must think that they have the holy grail of Offshoring. Sell of the company to a Chinese company and avoid the whole Offshoring idea. ZDNET might be fooled by this move but it is just another way for an Anti-American Worker company to shed American Workers and profiteer on Chinese slave labor. Perhaps Offshoring has done what it set out to do reduce the price of American workers.
Companies have been hiding their Offshoring and the embarasment it causes when made public. They are more effective at silently moving the jobs overseas. Microsoft invests millions in their Indian Campuses, IBM sells off its personal computer lines to a Chinese company backed by IBM.
Your Congressmen and Senators enjoy the benifits of their new found friends in India. How mamy of your representative have made the trip to India to marvel at what is being done to rip off America.
Look at the cheap crap that is being imported from China. Everything from clothing, furniture, toys and computers look at the look and feel. Walmart has rack after rack of poorly sewed garment made with low quality fabric. Check the labels (Made in China). Almost every toy on the shelves of our toy stores has the same "Made in China" labels and look and feel so cheap that I cannot part with my money to buy that junk. Look at the Dell computers fresh from China. Does a computer have to be ugly and cheap looking? If the outside is so bad what kind of quality is on the inside. Do we need to save money so bad that we are willing to buy the look and feel of the lowest quality.
Enjoy your Bush economy you deserve what you got when you re-elected him. It won't be long until even our wealthy experience the effects of their own greed. Remember a Chinese Rolex is every bit the same quality as the original for thousands of dollars less. - Posted by: Thrifty Tech Posted on: 03/03/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
