Why China can't compete in IT services, yet

Chinese IT Tech Support

Why not get the chinese to do your IT support since cost is the only consideration not service or customer satisfation. Dell, Microsoft, IBM and many other industry giants proved that cheap Indian help desks provided less than adequate customer service and support at a real discount rate. Now that many of these high tech Indian workers have been working for more than a year and are likely to look for raises it is time to find cheaper workers. I imagine you could get a whole Chinese prison to use as your help desk for less than what it costs for 4 Indian workers.

American Corporations are pleased with the computers made in China. They look and feel cheap. Cooling fans are missing, rough sharp edges are left latches do not latch properly. Look at the latest offering from the companies who have outsourced their computer manufacturing to China.

Once everthing is manufactured in China how many people will be able to afford even the cheapest garbage from China.
