What's up with Carbon Dioxide?
Umm, what's the big deal with carbon dioxide?

I can understand carbon monoxide and CFCs and other stuff, but this carbon dioxide thing puzzles me.

Unlike other greenhouse gases, carbon dioxide is part of a natural cycle - plants use it to produce oxygen. And we breathe that oxygen. The cycle is largely self-maintaining, and the solution is to plant more plants. Out of all of the greenhouse gas problems we could have, this one is the easiest to reverse.

Personally, I'd rather have too much carbon dioxide than too much CFCs or other greenhouse gases. At least carbon dioxide is easily reversible - we already have a natural way of replacing it with oxygen - it's the grass and trees and other plants sitting in your yard.
