The "cure" is worse than the disease. They are basically reacting magnesium with
water vapor. This is a pretty dangerous reaction because magnesium will ALSO
react with the hydrogen is produces as well at those temperatures and you can get
an explosion. In addition, hot magnesium will burn with an intense heat and white
light in the presence of oxygen OR nitrogen and even underwater (ever heard of a
magnesium flare).
And if you do get a magnesium fire going in one of these cars, don't try to put it
out with water; it will explode.
The real solution here is to deprogram the public from the environmental
brainwashing they are receiving about global warming being man-made and CO2
