The sad thing is these devices are priced like wheelchairs. Completely outrageous. No reason why a 25kw could not sell for $3500 because it is a simple device. Neodynium magnets that spin and field windings and three airfoils. Some have everything in the nacelle and others feed the raw electricity to a control room that prepares the electricity for the house. I like the latter for repair reasons. The mast, inverter and battery backup and necessary circuitry would be extra.

These companies sell nothing but toys for there are no models out there that will power a commercial dryer or stove for residential use independent of the grid. I am in the belief of a 100% electric future. Any hydrocarbon to amplify or compliment is not allowed. A house can be all electric like mine is. Invest in CIGS or wind power.

I noticed you Hummer rant. What if it was a hybrid or totally electric? I don't think it matters what type a vehicle is just so long as it is efficient.
