Ah, but herein lies the solution...
Hydro power, wind power, solar power and wave power can replace coal and fuel fired power plant. Problem is noone wants to make the initial investment to do so. We have huge wind farms out here in California and what I see sometimes is many of the wind turbines are static, when there is a solid breeze moving through. So all that power potential that could reduce the need for a coal fired power plant is never even tapped.

California has huge open deserts that are barren, and can be used for solar power stations. There are tidal areas that could benefit from Scotland's wave generators.

We are falling behind the world when it comes to green technology. The Germans are the experts and leading in the field of Wind Turbines. The Scots are the leaders in wave generators and Japan is stomping us into the dirt with Solar power.

So again the US is being held back in the 19th century with coal and crude oil factories while the rest of the world moves on past us. devil
