almost, but not quite true
Sure, the ceiling placement is a problem, but the heating efficiency, is actually the same for the light bulb and the electric radiator. Efficiency is the ratio between desired work performed and excess heat, but since heat is what we're producing, by definition the efficiency, on a unit level, is 100%. Then there are other things at play, too, like the precision and placement of my thermostats and so on.

All of these objections are true and correct, but slightly beside my point, which is that the entire systems effect must be taken into consideration. Such consideration could lead us to conclusions that we can easily identify from some of the objections/replys to my initial post.
It seems like a good idea, for instance, to introduce this technology, starting in hot areas of high electricity consumption.
