Wouldn't compact fluorescent bulbs slow adoption?
LED bulbs sound like interesting progress has been made.
My point is that many energy conscience, early adopters like me transitioned to compact fluorescent years ago and their cost is pretty low now. It would be useful if the article commented on the performance/price of LED's vs that, instead of incandescent.
