One part of the need

After reading through all of the postings I think it's important to remember that every type of 'alternative' energy source is just a part of the solution.

Industry is the heavy hitter that will probably always require the big gun approach to supply their energy needs, while home, school and small business needs might very well be met with a combination of alternative sources.

I'm confident that if we put the effort and resources into alternative energy sources like we do into keeping the oil industry happy we could get this accomplished.
