I think people are sometimes a bit paranoid whenever they hear the phrase "nuclear power plant", but then again, as you point out, the risks are not to be taken lightly.
I absolutely love the idea of solar farms because of these attributes: Completely free fuel, safe, renewable, zero emissions, simple technology (compared to other energy sources), scalable (need more power output?
