has the fed lost it?

the problem I have with the fed's study is that the median income is $40,000 here and, indeed, it is about that amount in many places.

additionally, real wages are down.

I'll be staying an an apartment, thank you!

I save about over $10,000 a year doing that-- about what you'd get if your $200,000 dollar house went up 5% a year.

Of couse, some predict that rents will rise but, as stated above, the average salary doesn't support much higher rents.

Heck, even Nortwest Airlines told their employees recently to "dumpster dive" to make up for lower wages.
