Tell them to sell cars with smaller engines. And
make that diesel.

A 2.0 L diesel engine develops more torque and
HP than a gasoline engine almost twice that size
and will give at least 50% more gas mileage.

Then FORCE the gas cos to sell the same Q of
diesel ( refined as much as gasoline) as
gasoline. Same as that offered in Europe.

Thus they can end this dog and pony show. GM,
ford and Chrysler have put on this show for a
long time, all the while selling bigger and
crappier vehicles in the US market. They use all
the buzz words that are in fashion - fuel cells,
hybrids, etc but do very little to change their
behaviour.
