Before ANY sort of alternative energy is going to work...
The right people are going to have to care. Right now they don't (whether for financial reasons, i.e. lost profits, or political i.e. our current government).

The businesses involved with infrastructure. The businesses involved with the fuel production. The businesses building the vehicles. The government. Etc... They all have to care, AT THE SAME TIME, or it's all just talk, like it has been for 50 years now.

For example. My truck will run on and is certified to use E85 Ethanol.

Guess what. As best I can tell (and I've looked hard) I can't find an Ethanol pump within 50 miles of my home/office.
