Well said.
On a related note, I worked in call centers (Travel Industry, not IT) for over 13 years. I was laid off from my last job and later my former employer announced plans for call centers in India.

That just got me more angry and bitter at the whole situation regarding US jobs being shipped overseas.

I've since reflected somewhat and you know what?

Good riddance! The call center industry sucks anyway. It's a very regimented environment.

Eventually those in India will realize how much it sucks and leave it for better jobs. They probably have better options anyway. Most Indian call center employees are college educated. Most current (and former) US call center employees are not.
