Roger Rarmjet's Comment about TIVO
Hmmm, Roger must not use TIVO, wonder if he uses Comcast? Seems like Comcast is doing such a great job alone that they have approached TIVO for 'help'!

Must be some reason the 'stupid' ones of us have lifetime subscriptions, mine is some 5 years and still going strong on my original Sony Series 1 with the original HD, maybe Roger should try it before he makes such sweeping assertations?

Interesting that TIVO series 1 boxes with lifetime subscriptions still have value when they have crashed, check out eBay. Some of us must see some value here. I wonder what old boxes from Comcast and other cable providers are worth when the HD crashes? I do agree that my ROI on my lifetime subscription is a lot better then my TIVO stock ROI, but even that has turned around since I purchased at $4?

I think the article shows how TIVO is continuing to seek additional niche markets while the entire industry is undergoing so much turmoil.
