"Now, apparently at the behest of the MPAA, Congress may criminalize the unrestricted distribution of broad categories of software."

Hmmm now we we have the MPAA suggesting what software can and cannot be distributed. Seems to me that they took the hint from China. Ya see in China you are allowed to use only that software that is sanctioned by the government. I wonder how long it will be before I am criminalized for having an IM proggie on my computer. It appears to me that is precisely where all this is heading. Between the RIAA, MPAA and the BSA (Business Software Alliance) the enforcement agencies are in place. Folks be afraid, be very afraid.
