Just a thought
I feel P2P services are nothing but good for the independent artists. A quick search for a specific style of music leads to many great finds that leads people to buying CD and going to concerts. That's good good.

Now the Major Labels are upset with that for understandable reasons, it's competition. But I just though of this. If File Swapper A logs on to the service to download the latest billboard #1 hit and ends up searching for other music as well only to find better songs then isn't that problem.

Think of it like this. Your product is basically bringing people into to buy the competition. Is the morally wrong? I say it would be as you aren't paying for that first song. It'd be like me get a free cadbury chocolate bar but then buying hersy chocolate bars once inside the store. It seems that giving away songs from free that entice the consumer to buy the competitions product is a problem.
