And pardon my langauge, who gives s$it about US law outside of the USA? Someone has to understand that this is Internet and little minds in Washington D.C. cannot control what people in other countries do.

If you don't like idea of download of software without some fancy requirements by US Law then block it from access from the USA. Otherwise keep quiet and don't try to make one step too far because you certainly tempt more aggressive hacking attacks.

I bet that many will ignore it even if the US law passes. I would.
