Know what is even more sad? Watching the value of someone's home drop from $300,000 to $80,000 because of the deflation caused by the continued exporting of jobs. If wages here drop enough to be able to compete with India/China, the value of EVERYTHING drops, causing deflation and every long term investment loses value.
