Hence Wal-mart's success
People don't care about quality anymore, simply a low cost which brings me to a second point of what is wrong with today's society.

No one appears to think beyond the next hour or so when they aquire goods. Quality is tossed out the window with the exception of a few smarter people.

This is the same reason why some schools have accreditation problems. Even then, most of what they require is that a student has access to the tools to make him more knowledgible. Not so much whether or not they actually test whether they can comprehend the tools he or she has access to.

Once again, I go back to my point. People should have to work for what they achieve. Apparently that concept was forgotten when we assumed the role of #1 in the global economy.

I don't much care for all the rules being bent because some one pays more. Some people are starting to realize this with their towns in ruins because Wal-mart or some other large corporation took them over. Vendors have began pulling goods off of the shelfs deciding to sacrifice sales in order to preserve quality.

This should be the American values we instill in our youth. Instead I think American values are being replaced with watching WWE or some other form of entertainment that requires a two digit IQ or less.

Education needs reformed, the household needs reformed, our economy needs an overhaul, our system of measurement need tossed, our environmental considerations need revised, and replaced wiht a better standard. Even our standards need to be revised.

I get to sit and watch while my nation goes from the front of the pack to the back. Just lovely.
