Not so.
Physical jobs are no safer. While they can't be offshored, the people who pay for these services can be. Example: I'm a programmer. Because of offshoring, my salary dropped $50K last year. I recently had to replace some flooring in my home. Instead of hiring a local "tradesman" to lay the floor (which I would have done previously), I did it myself. So, if effect, the tradesman was outsourced. When you make less money you spend less money, so EVERYONE is affected.
