I met a Indian worker here
He wasn't a Tech field worker but a project manager working for a finacial company on a work Visa. He getting offer for work back in India and he was leveraging for equivalent pay in India if he were to go back.

I guess that just makes sense. If you can make more here then why move back. Especially if you are just funneling the money from North America back to you home in India.

As time moves on India will have to pay higher wages to compete in the global market place or risk losing all thier skilled IT worker to over seas.

You have to look at the big picture. Don't just look at jobs that can be outsourced but look at jobs that require you to be there. As India get more outsourced jobs they need the infrastructure to support the outsourcing. This requires skill onsite professionals. These same profesional can work in the US or Canada for more so they have leverage to ask for higher wages. Now developers who need just as much if not more skill and education aren't going to sit by while network admin people double or tripple thier wage.

This will just take time.
