Logical problem
Yes, India as a whole has issues. That's why they threw out the BJP in favor of the Congress party and Singh recently.

However, the fact that one part of the economy is doing badly does not imply that the economy as a whole is doing badly. Outsourcing is doing VERY well, and growing strongly. Furthermore, tech workers in India are paid much better, related to the local population, than tech workers in America. In other words, if we were paid at the same comparative rate as an Indian tech worker, we would be making $200,000 plus.

Outsourcing is a growth industry in India, and where there's a growth industry, there's upward pressure on wages.

No need to convince yourself that economic principles break down in India. Wages WILL go up, and they are doing so NOW.
