Misuse of the word stealing again, fraud maybe
a better term.

That's what I call it when someone hires a lawyer to fraudulently sue. It happens all too often. It's big thing in car insurance. You just make up a case and sue with the hopes the corporation settles. If they don't settle no big loss that is unless you go to court but you have the option of not going to court.

So how is insurance fraud where a person claims injuries against you even though technically there was no accident any differnt. They just lie and ask for $15,000 and it's cheaper for the insurance company to just give out the $15,000 and raise rates. Now I can just file for a patent, make it techical enough that the patent office does't understand it then I sue a big corporation and hope the settle for they consider peanuts which to me is a large sum of money.

These people know exactly what they are doing and if you can prove thier intent I'm sure you could have them charged for defrauding the patent office. Problem is how do you prove that? If someone tried to charge me I'd just claim I was trying to patent an idea I had, how can I be wrong. The I'd laugh all the way to the bank, or more my lawyer would do that.
