I approve and dissaprove the spying of emails, messages, etc.. The greatest thing the system will do is catch some bad guys, to be able to catch them before they comit the crime or while in the act of crime.. Who wouldnt want these bad people off the streets? However were talking about peoples privacy.. Imagine this you send an email to your lover or lover to be things through the email you wouldnt want anyone to see.. or maybe your talking about the president. not everyone likes the president. so lets use the president for an example.. Lets say john doe doesnt like the president so hes emailing a friend what he thinks of the president.. lets say he uses some cruel language or something that if he was to do would be imprissoned for life.. but in real life jonn doe would never do in his real life.. Thinking of this.. the computer picks this out, and is put under investigation, so john doe is now under investigation as an assasin, and could be imprissoned for saying the words.. Its basicly scary to know that you would have to watch what you type to someone being afraid that it could possibly put you in prison over something that was meant as just an oppinion.. remember everyone has their right to an oppinion and a voice. you take those thoughts away and it would be like your taking away everything that makes everyone different.. One thing to think of is sending personal data across the internet. How secure is a secure site? not secure at all.. a hacker free program could be hacked into. everyday a new program comes out but a new hacker program would come out eventually that would override that program.. If you have been on yahoo chat you would know this.. Lets say john doe sents his personal info through the net, well hackers could possibly gain access to that just going through the net, but what would keep them from getting it through fbi's carnivore.
everyone has their belief's so think what you will and this thought is mine - Posted by: baziltron Posted on: 03/05/05 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
