Microsoft and Intel don't have to do anything.

How about the individual! How about we teach responsibility at the individual level. Everyone seems to think someone else is responsible for their lot in life. I am sick of people blaming the system and looking for someone else to provide the answer.

Americans have gotten lazy. 40 hrs. a week of work and much less of school and we start crying about being abused. Our work force has begun to think their employer owes them something more than a paycheck. In fact, they want their paycheck first. And they want to be able to waste time surfing and doing personal e-mail on company time and then wonder why there is off shoring.

God, family and country, the things that built the foundation of this great nation are falling to the side as we chase instant gratification and the dollar bill to the exclusion of everthing else.

This is the attitude and behavior that is poluting everything including our education system.

And the only reason we were so inventive was the anticipation of getting rich from patenting such invention. And then eventually, money is going to fail as the motivator. And when you have spent all of your character chasing the $, your spent or rather burnt out and it is a downward spiral from there.

You better believe that America is going exactly the direction its people are leading, or not leading, it. And it is you and me and everyone else who sits on their hands and blame the situation on something other than ourselves who are 100% responsible for the way things are.
