Invest in the US then
Many US companies are investing outside of the US because corporations have no goal beyond the next quarter. Communities give out tax breaks to corporations that abandon them quickly for the next quarter profit. Our gov't turns a blind eye to companies that hire "undoucumeted labor" and imports cheap tech workers to fill an unproven lament that there are just not enough smart US workers. Perhaps there are not? The evidence needs to be presented not assumed.

There have been the publicized Gates charity donations and that is very nice. But what about the culture of consumption? The evisceration of the middle class in America done in the name of free markets that do not always truly exist. Monopolies and duopolies are celebrated in the business press. Conspicious consumption is lauded as a main goal of life. Tort reforms that places the rights of people below that of corporations. Why is it that corporations do not have caps on damages but people do? Make it equal at the very least. Cap the corps too. Why do banks hand out credit cards like a crack dealer in the city? To hook their customers on a treadmill of debt at 15-25% interest rates which used to be considered loan sharking. Something only a crook would do, but then our pious gov't uses lotteries to fleece the weak and to fund services in the name of lower taxes.

Have a nice day. grin
