RE: "Put up or shut up"
First off, i would like to dis-spell a lot of notions. Most of which i agree with you on everything you have said. And I also need to add to that:

1) Most companies in the US are so into srapping everything to save a penny here and there. Bottomline is the most important thing now a days. Most companies don't even think of College Tuition Re-Imbursement plans. Well if it would help your company to help your workers get through college a little easier then it out weights what they are paying

2) The most profitable companies, are also the companies that drive up the prices on products. Think of it this way, you have really wealthy people out there, so what do they need to satifsy their wealthly status? And even more expensive store to shop at. Example: Donald Trump about every weeks buys about 3 suits that costs about $50,000 in total. That's most people's salary for a year

3) The term of "Education Gap" is complete utter disgusting B.S. You have to understand something about an education in America as opposed to another country. Other countries manafacture college students, by that meaning they basically teach them to memorize so much in the area that they work in and that's it. Most US students are taught to be creative. About how many other countries are as inventive as the United States? The only one i can think of off the top of my head are: Japan, England and Australia (that's right)

...bottom line is we need less super rich people and more comfortable living people in the working class. I look at it this way, in some of the most expensive states to live in those being, CA, NY, NJ, CT, FL, etc... the upper-middle class or close to the rich should be making about $100,000 a year.

But that's not really the story anymore, there are the poor, lower-class, middle-class, the millionaires and billionaires.

At some point i'm sure there will eventually be a trillionaire. The scary thing about that, well a single person with a wealth of 1 Trillion dollars means that if every single person in the US was paying that person they would be paying the one person about $189,000 per person. If you think that's scary, a billionaire is about $189 per person. People like Bill Gates has multiple billions of dollars, care to do the math?

""Microsoft and Intel, both computing giants. Both immensely profitable. How about giving something back? Instead of standing on the sidelines and whining about the problems, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! I'm so sick of those who are able to help standing around looking down their noses and saying "no, no, that won't do," then stashing themselves back in their boardrooms to count their money. How about offering free college for all employee's children? How about creating an accelerated program for highly motivated high-schoolers that have technical aptitude? How about opening up your shop to middle- and high-school kids so they can see that a job at Intel is more than just wearing a white coat and holding a soddering iron? How about buying new text books for the public schools in the Seattle area? Or New York, where they may appreciate it a bit more?""
