Actually Linux is much easier to lock down and administer For the enterprise and governments, the masses of workers only need email, browser, simple word processing, company apps. Linux does all that as well or better. Linux is a step forward. You might have to leave a few power users on Windows until apps become available on Linux.

You want it supported, security updates, etc? Give Sun a call, they are the new number one Desktop Linux company. They will sell you the whole package at a very reasonable price.
