Yes, not silver bullet, but start by booting Microsoft.
You could reduce you problems by a factor of 10 right now, by just replacing all of your Windows servers and desktops.Of course if everybody did that, the virus writers would change their focus, and target Linux more. But even then, with the superior security model and nothing bolted to the OS so that you can remove un-needed applications, we would never have as many problems as we have right now. And, of course a Linux environment would have a much more diverse application set, again reducing risks.

SO START WITH THE OBVIOUS
