- Look I don't want to leave you with only one side of
-
the equation....so add this to the list.
I often come in on weekends to do work that "IF" done during
the week would interfere with production like installing new
productivity tools and upgrades. My supervisor is not keen on
this because he thinks it establishes a bad president..ie we
support techs coming in on the weekends to do work that could
be done during the week however it would put pressure on
those who actually do the production here. Me I think it's not
big deal for me to do this and it takes a lot of stress of those
who need to get the actually work done to make the company
money. I do this often and with no complaint.
It is also not unheard of for me to come in on a vacation day if it
is an emergency. I do these things to keep those who need to
be productive..doing so.
As a company we do a lot of time sensitive work...ie it has to be
done by X or wwe don't get paid, or we do get penalized so we
don't get paid as much as we would like. I also feel for those
employees who day in and day out have to work under those
conditions so I do everything I can to make sure their stress is at
a minimum. I do care more for my fellow employee's than I do
for the company but as it turns out my concerm for those
employee's works to the companie's benefit.
So what do you think of me now?
heh heh heh
