Yeah

"Bush actually IS doing something about terrorism along with the "security theater" of this ID change."

Well, I'm sure glad he "came around" after..how many years since 9/11? After all, he was only on a MONTH LONG vacation while the "bin Laden DETERMINED to strike in the US" memo was floating around ALL branches of government. If he was willing to be soo negligent then (when it really counted), why should we assume anything will be different now?

What is so bold about needlessly taking your citizens' rights away, especially when you won't be doing any of the actual legwork?

And this is different than the YEAR AND A HALF that the Bush administration utterly stonewalled ANY 9/11 investigation how???
Within DAYS of the Kennedy assassination an "investigation" was launched. And that was just one man's murder, even if he was the president. Compare that to close to 3000 people and a few BILLION dollars or property damage.

Bias with respect to politics is a sure sign of a naive mind. You realy believe that there are two teams out there playing ball. Very ignorant..

Yes, but the pros vs. the cons easily shoot it down. To have big business/big government track EVERY move and purchase by all of its citizens is a lot to ask just so that we might be safer..

Dude, you really scare me. So Iraqis "no doubt"wanted to kill us? They were prepping to "come here"? America was a far from their minds as Iceland, my friend. There is TONS of evidence showing that this administration cooked their info and knew it all ahead of time. Plus, through FOIA subpoenas, the ACLU has made public documents REVEALING that high level officials (Rumsfeld) ORDERED the prison torture and abuse. So put THAT in your pipe and smoke it..

Actually we won't be effective in doing this, because nothing substantial is being done about it. This is OBVIOUS. Notice the big push is for the national ID, not the end of terrorism or tyranny.

Yeah, even though it's been PROVEN that Bush and his officials were lying all along. If there were a REAL threat, there would have been NO reason to lie. This is just plain common sense.

An arrogant, absurd assumption. So we can NEVER be wrong?! Have you EVER been wrong about anything in your entire life? OF course! Why? Because you're human. And so is Bush. Therefore, he can't be ABSOLUTELY sure about everything. Period. What if Russia dropped a few nukes on this country and then realized they were wrong? Would you accept that?! You NEVER would, and rightfully so.

You need to start thiking OUTSIDE the box, Spoon, or face becoming a subjugated drone.
