Solidity and mass is what gives a guitar sustain.
This is basically a semi acustic without sound holes...
How does having a screen in the front improve the sound?...The article mentions the peformance being centered around the screen???
You can get amp modelers with MIDI controls built in for about $100.
You can also buy the latest Gibson robot guitar (can't remember the name) for about 2/3 the cost of one of these.
I suppose they might have pose value, if you ignore the fact that these things real fugly.
The best bit was about putting a laptop inside a guitar, and then realizing that it was too heavy...that sounds like some "design process"...
I think I'll stick with my 39 year old Strat thanks.
I wonder why old Les didn't think up this one?
