Technology advances but U2 music doesn't
It was great to see/know this event was being streamed worldwide demostrating the capacity of the internets future potential work.

The picture quality sound was sharp and clear. I would have liked to see how this viewed on a home entertainment flat screen...looked fantastic on my 24" monitor.

U2 however I was not impressed with AT ALL. They have never been great musicians only mediocare but I was stunned to see Bono not sing SO MANY of his songs to his earlier abilities. He is clearly showing his age.

The new album from what I've heard sucks...and alot of this presentation for this show reminded me of the LEMON tour...thy hype...etc but in this case for me a huge music fan the technology surpassed the performance hands down.

Time to retire U2...the same Limited GTR technics by the Edge are boring, poor drumming and thin sound on stage that Bono once could over shadow/carry for the band with his voice.

But not anymore Bono....not anymore...we all are getting so old....so fast.

Cheers
