- Not really slashing prices
- When you consider laptops have dropped by a factor of 4 in the same time frame, dropping $50 off the price of a WII is not slashing prices, it is just a small price drops. The amount of profit on each WII sales is probably 4 times higher than when the WII was first introduced.
