The first paragraph should be changed to
Solar or photovoltaic (PV) technology in mobile computing devices is still
impeded by physics (of course), but that doesn't stop analysts and tech
journalists from still talking as if someday the sun will magically produce
more than 1kW per square meter of power at the earth's surface.
