I'd really not call a few nut cases with cause who use violence as enemies of the USA. They are common criminals.

No, when someone makes it their stated goal to convert or kill you, they are ENEMIES not criminals.

I might be able to see North Korea as an enemy.

They haven't attacked our country but are a potential enemy. But you call the groups that kill us and our allies just "common criminals?"

Remember, Clinton tried to deal with terrorists (enemies) as "criminals" and IT DID NOT WORK! If he would have gone after them and killed them, like the enemies that they are, after the first WTC attack, or the USS Cole attack, or the embassy bombing, or the marine barracks attacks, or the constant suicide bombers etc, then we probably wouldn't be in the shape we're in now.

You've said you're not an extremist, but that philosophy sounds extremely left(wrong) to me.
