Netbook != Smart Phone
Android is designed for a smartphone. It would need some redesigning to work on a netbook anyways, and then it wouldn't really be the same Android at that point.

I think if you're gonna put Android on a computer then it needs to be something different, like an even lighter version of a Netbook. (call it a Pocketbook?)

And while Android is based on Linux, Linux it is not. If I spend $300 on a diminutive laptop, I want something more than Android. Something that can run regular programs.

The Jury is still out on ChromeOS, but for now give me Linux or Winblows on my cheapo laptop.
