Who is being daft?
What is Android? What is Chrome? They are marketing terms. No more, no less. Android is the marketing term for Google's smart phone OS code base. Chrome is the marketing term for Google's netbook OS code base. All this talk about putting "Android" on netbooks came out well before "Chrome" came out as the name for Google's netbook OS code base.
