Maybe just stop period...
...because nobody has even seen a screenshot or line of code for this OS. So exactly how are you going to weigh possibilities and limitations? Its all just speculation really.

And to be honest its really only the non-Linux people doing all of this side taking, naysaying and speculating. The Linux people welcome the opportunity to see the Linux kernel gain more mainstream publicity. There are many ways the Linux community can benefit from it since the OS will be open source.

As for supporting Linux when it was displaced by XP it would make no difference. Linux was selling and the OEM's wanted to stop selling it....simple as that.
