RE: Will Chrome endanger Android?
Has this Jump character even read Google's Chrome OS press release or does he have access to inside information that the rest of the tech world doesn't seem to have or is he just smoking way too much crack?

It seems to me, he has the roles of Android and Chrome pretty much reversed. How he could ever see Chrome as any competition to Windows 7 or any other real OS is beyond me. As Google has outlined Chrome OS, it's a far lighter weight OS than Android. Jump states that the opposite is the case. To even call it an OS by what most people think of an OS to be is a stretch in itself. How a glorified browser environment is going to dethrone Windows 7 is beyond me. Wow, I just can't get over how silly Mr. Jump's conclusions are. This is one of the most utterly ridiculous interviews I've ever seen published and shame on ZDNet for even given any thought to publishing it in the first place. Are the ZDNet editors so technically inept that they can't read Google's press release and realize that Jump probably didn't do his homework before the interview and is only blowing smoke out of his ass?
