Are you serious?
You really think that chrome os will be up to Windows 7 at the fancier, bells-and-whistles end of the OS market? Chrome OS is intended for low cost netbooks. Only way to develop applications for this OS is to develop a web app i.e no system call interface exposed by OS. This OS is good for internet browsing only. Attaching few drivers and windowing system to chrome so that it can run on a hardware without any extra software doesnt make it a competitor of windows 7. you must be smoking something good to see that it does.
