PC refresh . . . . 2 what ?
I've tested several of the "latest" arrays of
cpu's where only benchmark programs are adopted to
Optimized for them, most windows applications
still compiled for to run on 386 cpu's.

I still use an 11 year old PC that runs flawlessly,
and have during ten years not experienced any
tangible enhancements in PC computers, only obstructive changes, trying to make present computers obsolete.
Redundant GFX, probably ending up in making me able to
write in reverse,
on the backside of a word processor.

The condensation of transistors per square millimeter have reached it's limit, and no feasible alternative
are available in the foreseeable future.

Most "new" features are more or less obstructive
entanglements, so keeping the "old" gear prevents
spending of time on other matters then your own
business ventures. Wouldn't be suprised if most
activities gained on shedding about 40% of their
present computer resources, actually.

Written by a 24000 year old supercomputer attached to
a interface ideally suited for tree climbing.

Think no one can change that.
