In reply to the guy who replaced Vista with ubuntu instead of XP.

You know what, ubuntu probably uses your system much better than XP. Like I am going to run XP on my Quad Core system and not use it's potential. I might as well be running a P4. XP isn't designed to make good use of these multicore systems. Sure some software like Photoshop, Autocad and some newer games do but most software for windows can't. So if the OS doesn't use the multiple processors and the software doesn't, you are not using a lot of your system's power. Vista for all it's trouble can at least tell dumb software to run on a different core if needed. I am pretty sure XP doesn't do that unless there's some update that added the feature.
