(Do you need Microsoft Security Essentials?)

I already have it...: I just installed it yesterday on Vista Ultimate 64-bit, and it's not the least bit intrusive. Due to recent and significant hardware issues, I had already re-built that system several times, and had just recently done it again, so this was a very convenient timing to take the plunge, as I had great difficulty with Symantec's End Point Protection, and if my experience remains positive, Symantec will no longer garner any new business from me. The hard part will be coughing up to replace XP with Vista on at least two machines, but by the time it becomes necessary, perhaps it will be less expensive by some amount, or I can come across some kind of good deal on E-Bay.
