Playing stupid as always John
"How does my being in Europe have ANYTHING to do with this discussion, except as a way to let YOU not think about the issues I pose?"

Um, I don't know..possibly because you are talking about an issue (which is having no ill effect on you of course) that is destroying American jobs and thus its economy and you don't even live here so you could see what it is REALLY doing!!
Can people who drive to work really make judgments for people who take public transportation, saying that being crammed together with a bunch of strangers isn't all that bad so shut up and deal with it? But the real question: if the company you worked for was doing great financially and had NO REAL NEED to strip down its labor force suddenly fired you and hired an American for much less and you were out of work for eight months..would you be thumbing your nose at us in the same obnoxious manner?...

"As for the claim that American workers were being "exploited," bullsh*t."

You right. I mean with Microsoft ONLY having 50 BILLION at its disposal (and making billions all the time) theyreally need to hurry and outsource everything before it's too late.

"American workers were being forced to compete with foreigners who were AS qualified, and paid ALMOST the same amount of money as foreign workers."

But that is not the real issue, as bad as that is in itself. Foreign workers do not pay taxes here, do not live here, and do not buy goods here. Translation: an obvious complete loss for this country (except for the big boys, of course..the companies looking out for their "bottom line"). This situation creates a vacuum which is going to hit this country hard over the head just a few short years from now.

"Free trade is wonderful.."

..if it had anything to do with that. By the way John, when were you last unemployed?..
